Blackhawk Community Credit Union's
Trailblazers: Journeys of Growth
BHCCU believes in growing from within. Becoming a BHCCU Trailblazer is our way to honor our team members who have shown what that means. We celebrate our team members who started on the front lines, showed up every day, worked hard, and stayed committed to our mission. Their dedication has helped shape the success of our credit union and the lives of our members.
Please join us in spotlighting our employees who have earned promotions and advanced by embodying our core values.

"I began my journey at BHCCU as a teller and over the past eight years have grown through roles as a Float Member Advisor, Contact Center Member Advisor, Contact Center Lending Member Advisor, and now Assistant Manager of the Contact Center, with November marking my ninth year. As a people person, I’ve found a true home in the credit union philosophy of people helping people, always striving to bring clarity, peace of mind, or make things more manageable for our members. From the teller line to loans and the Contact Center, I’ve been grateful to build lasting connections—including members who recognize my voice before I even say my name—and those relationships are what make my work so meaningful." - Courtney Ramos

"I began my journey as a temp and have grown into roles as a part-time teller, lead teller, and now mortgage processor. Along the way, I've remained eager to learn, quick to help, and motivated to grow. I approach new challenges with a positive, team-first mindset, and my commitment to continuous development has allowed me to make a meaningful impact on my teams, our members, and the organization." - Grace Runaas

"I began my journey as a Teller, then moved into Lead Teller, Float Manager, and now Branch Manager. My growth came from being dedicated to my work and always striving to make a difference in people's lives - whether that's our members or my coworkers. I focus on being accurate, efficient, compassionate, and on putting others before myself. Some people say I have a big heart, and honestly, they're probably right - I care deeply about what I do." - Brittany Jaworski
