Making Community Giving More Accessible
These past two years have been uncertain times for many, but one thing has always been sure, Blackhawk Community Credit Union will always be here for our members, our communities, and our employees. We believe that 2020 was a year of change; some good and some bad, but that did not stop us from making positive differences in the ways we can help people. One of the ways we updated how we help our communities is through the Community Donations Committee, a group within our organization formed to put more structure around our community giving.
Non-profits can now fill out a donations form on our website to easily tell us what they need and how we can help. This year, the Community Donations committee has donated over $60,000 and has helped over 40 community organizations. Some of the organizations we have supported this year include:
