Blackhawk Community Credit Union Kenosha branch

As our state and local communities begin transitioning to the next phase of managing the COVID-19 pandemic, Blackhawk Community Credit Union remains ready to serve and support you. We continue to place our focus on providing you with safe and convenient options to manage your finances.

When Wisconsin’s Governor Evers announced the Safer-at-Home order in mid-March, we closed our branches that did not have drive-up services in order to protect you and our employees. Our newest Kenosha branch located at 7180 75th Street is open, and we continue to offer expanded services through our drive-up, including closing loans, opening accounts, and notarizing documents. Our goal is to provide you with convenience while keeping you safe.

The use of our mobile app and our personalized digital solutions has increased significantly. Many of you are utilizing mobile check deposit, transferring money, and paying bills through our online banking and mobile app technology.

The pandemic has challenged businesses of all sizes to pause and evaluate how to move forward. As we evaluate the effects of COVID-19 and we work on a phased approach to resume lobby service, we have made some tough decisions. Our Kenosha City Employees Credit Union branch inside the municipal building and County Credit Union branch located at 925 59th Street will remain permanently closed. Your checks and debit cards from both credit unions will continue to work as normal and do not need to be replaced.

Our full-service and state of the art branch at 7180 75th Street will remain open and staffed to take care of all your financial needs. We have installed protective shields in the teller area and offices, added antibacterial wraps on common surfaces, and restructured in-person traffic with floor markers to allow for proper distancing.

For your continued safety, our lobby will be open for appointments beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Please call our call center at 800.779.5555 to make an appointment. We will also continue to offer our expanded drive-up services, enabling you to transact in a way that is convenient for you.

Our robust online and mobile banking options are excellent alternatives should you wish to minimize in-person interactions. Our call center at 800.779.5555 is also available for your current and future needs.

We appreciate both your business and patience as we all heal from the effects of this pandemic. We will continue to update you and hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
