We Love Our Members

At Blackhawk Community Credit Union, it's our number one goal to ensure you get the support you need to reach your financial goals while getting the most out of your membership.

  • Opt in to E-statements for quicker and safer document delivery.
  • Be sure to stay connected with us by signing up for emails . With just one or two emails a month, we won't overload you're inbox, but you can be the first to know about important announcements, events, and resources at your credit union.
  • Follow us on Facebook & Instagram to interact with BHCCU and your fellow members. We share everything from funny staff photos to giveaways, announcements, and more.
    • When we have an important announcement, such as a holiday or early closure, we will share this on our home page as well as our social media pages.

Membership Eligibility

 
Personal Memberships

To become a member of Blackhawk Community Credit Union, you or an immediate family member must live, work, attend school, or own property within our field of membership.

Business Memberships

Businesses, organizations, and associations may qualify for membership if a majority of their directors, members, or owners meet our membership eligibility requirements, or if the business, organization, or association has a physical location within our field of membership.

Internet Gambling Business
An internet gambling/online gambling business is a business that engages in any kind of gambling conducted on the internet.
  • This includes but is not limited to virtual poker, casinos, and sports betting.


Money Service Business
A money service business is a business that sells or redeems products or services related to money orders, traveler's checks, cashier's checks, wire/money transfers, prepaid cards, check cashing or currency exchange/dealing in excess of $1,000 per person, per day.
  • This includes but is not limited to Western Union or MoneyGram retailers.


Marijuana Related Business
A marijuana related business is a business that buys, sells, or grows medical or recreational Marijuana, or works with Marijuana such as cultivating or biotechnology; or is a Marijuana dispensary.
  • Marijuana is defined as more than 0.3% THC.
