As Vice President of Credit for Blackhawk Community Credit Union, I lead the Member Business Lending Department and oversee the credit and underwriting functions for consumer and mortgage lending. In my role, I am responsible for credit policy development, underwriting strategy, portfolio risk management, loan approval processes, and ensuring our lending practices support the credit union’s commitment to financial strength, sound risk management, and exceptional member service.

I have been with Blackhawk Community Credit Union for 15 years and bring more than 25 years of experience in business lending and credit administration. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to developing strong lending programs that balance prudent credit decisions with the evolving financial needs of our members. My experience includes commercial lending, credit risk management, portfolio oversight, and strategic lending initiatives that support sustainable growth and long-term success.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, supporting my local community, and building meaningful relationships with members, colleagues, and community partners. I find the greatest satisfaction in helping others succeed, giving back to the communities we serve, and making a positive impact through the cooperative principles at the heart of the credit union movement.

As Director of Business Services for Blackhawk Community Credit Union, I am part of the Member Business Lending team, where I help members and prospective members secure the financing they need to grow, invest, and succeed. I work closely with business owners and real estate investors to provide customized lending solutions, including commercial real estate loans, equipment financing, working capital, and business acquisition financing.

I joined Blackhawk Community Credit Union in 2019 and bring more than 42 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong background in commercial banking, treasury management, and consumer banking. My approach to business lending is centered on understanding each member’s unique goals, providing responsive service, and building long-term relationships based on trust, integrity, and sound financial guidance. I strive to make the lending process straightforward while helping members identify opportunities that support their continued success.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

Outside of work, I have served on various community boards and have been honored to volunteer with numerous nonprofit organizations. I am passionate about giving back to the communities we serve, building meaningful relationships, and helping our members meet their financial goals.

Justine McGuire

As a Commercial Loan Analyst at Blackhawk Community Credit Union, I analyze commercial loan applications and conduct financial and cash flow analyses to support sound lending decisions and help local businesses thrive.

With more than 19 years at BHCCU, I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple departments, gaining a well-rounded understanding of financial operations, risk assessment and member service. This experience allows me to approach commercial lending with a comprehensive perspective and a commitment to accuracy, integrity and exceptional service.

I attended Blackhawk Technical College, where I developed valuable knowledge and skills that continue to support my professional growth.

Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to the community through volunteer work with a variety of organizations and causes. I’m passionate about making a positive impact, supporting others and building meaningful connections in the communities we serve.

Trina O'Dierno

Commercial Loan Processor

As a Commercial Loan Processor with extensive experience in the financial services industry, I play an integral role in supporting the commercial lending process from origination through servicing. My responsibilities include preparing loan documentation, boarding and funding loans, and managing a wide range of servicing functions. I oversee borrowing base calculations, monitor insurance requirements, coordinate title work and construction draws, order site inspections and flood determinations for property collateral, process participation payments, manage escrow activities, and conduct commercial lending research to ensure timely issue resolution.

My banking career began as a teller, where I spent 26 years building a strong foundation in member service and banking operations. Eager to expand my knowledge and take on new challenges, I pursued opportunities in commercial lending, where I have continued to grow my expertise. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous learning, operational excellence, and helping members achieve their financial goals.

I am known for my curiosity, attention to detail, and collaborative approach. Whether working with borrowers, business partners, or colleagues, I take pride in providing exceptional service and helping ensure every commercial loan is processed accurately and efficiently.

Outside of work, I enjoy making the most of Wisconsin summers and spending quality time with my husband and our Great Dane, Vido.
