Each year, Blackhawk Community Credit Union awards one nonprofit organization a Premier Partnership donation through our Local First Credit Card program to help support the nonprofit's programs that create meaningful, lasting change throughout the communities we serve.

On behalf of our entire team, we are proud to announce VetsRoll as our 2026 Local First Credit Card Premier Partnership Recipient! Through this partnership, every Local First Credit Card helps support VetsRoll's mission of honoring America's veterans.

Celebrating Community Impact Through Premier Partnership

A donation award selected by the people who know our communities best—our BHCCU team.

Each year, BHCCU employees nominate nonprofit organizations they are passionate about, which are then included in a member survey where votes are cast to select the next year’s Local First Credit Card recipient. The chosen organization exemplifies the cooperative spirit of “people helping people,” and we are honored to partner with them as they continue making a powerful difference close to home.


VetsRoll
VetsRoll is a nonprofit organization that honors and thanks WWII & Korean War Veterans and Rosie-the-Riveters for their service and sacrifices by providing all-expense-paid, multi-day trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor.

Your dedication supports the youth, seniors, individuals with disabilities, neighbors in need, and the communities we all call home. BHCCU wishes you continued success in your fundraising efforts, outreach, and initiatives as you expand your reach and make an even greater impact!
 
Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations, and 501(c)(6) business leagues will be considered for this charitable contribution in the communities we serve. Winners will be chosen by BHCCU Board volunteers and notified by January 2027. Nonprofit will be responsible to pay any taxes and must agree to allow BHCCU to use their organization name and mission in marketing and media announcements.
