How Can Your Nonprofit Apply to be a Difference Maker?
BHCCU members are passionate about supporting nonprofit organizations that strengthen and uplift our communities. Eligible nonprofits are invited to apply for a $15,000 Premier Difference Maker donation from Blackhawk Community Credit Union in 2026. Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM. To ensure a fair review process, late applications cannot be accepted—so be sure to submit yours on time.
ECHO seeks to help people help themselves through its programs and services, not readily available through other sources, and to assist them in utilizing other existing services and programs in the community.

Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations, and 501(c)(6) business leagues will be considered for this charitable contribution in the communities we serve. Winners will be chosen by BHCCU Board volunteers and notified by January 2027. Nonprofit will be responsible to pay any taxes and must agree to allow BHCCU to use their organization name and mission in marketing and media announcements.
