Every quarter, our Dedication to Service Committee reviews nominations from our members and fellow employees to select the next recipients of the Dedication to Service Award.

In Honor of Chris Murwin

Chris, Blackhawk Community Credit Union's Director of Member Services, passed away at 54 after a long battle with lymphoma. She joined BHCCU in 1981 and made a lasting impact with her passion for service. To honor her, Blackhawk Community Credit Union established the Dedication to Service Award to recognize employees who share her commitment. Behind the Court Street branch, a memorial garden stands tribute to honor Chris Murwin and the legacy she leaves behind.
