Blackhawk Community Credit Union, a large financial institution headquartered in Janesville, WI, is currently seeking an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor 's responsibility is to assure the integrity of the internal controls, accounting practices, and the computer programs of the credit union, and determine that they are performing at an acceptable level that minimizes potential risk to the Credit Union's assets, and to recommend or modify procedures to improve them when necessary. This position must operate within the scope of all state and federal laws, rules and regulations, the Bylaws, policies and procedures of the Credit Union, and generally accepted audit procedures.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

Conducts periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) audits of the accounting functions of the employee's daily work as relates to member accounts and General Ledger accounts.

Conducts periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) audits of all assets and liabilities held by the credit union.

Prepares various audits and reports that are necessary to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and all other state and federal laws.

Conducts research and works cooperatively with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of suspicious, fraudulent, or unlawful acts.

Facilitates requests by regulatory examiners and external auditors.

Tests internal controls to determine compliance with policies and procedures.

Evaluates the adequacy of internal controls, identifies potential areas of risk, and makes recommendations to improve financial and operating controls.

Implements management strategies and is involved in policy decisions.

Reports directly to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or at least 7 years of experience working in auditing, budgeting, or financial accounting; Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance; Excellent people skills; Knowledge of credit union statutes, rules and regulations, policies and procedures; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Computer skills including MS Word and Excel, and familiarity with working in a MS Windows environment; Ability to work under pressure.

Blackhawk Community Credit Union, located in Janesville, Wisconsin, a progressive and growing credit union with over $300 million in assets, is seeking an Information Systems Analyst/Programmer. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Information Systems Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of the organization's internally developed software and reporting. Duties will include software analysis, improvement recommendations, project coordination, documentation, on-going technical support and end-user training.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of five years’ programming experience, preferably within a financial institution. This position requires familiarity with client/server based applications, web applications, software development concepts and project management skills. This position also requires working knowledge of the following technologies: repgen(Symitar), shell scripting, HTML, Perl, PHP, .ASP, .NET, MS Reporting Services, MS SQL, MySQL, SyBase. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
